Ingredients


1 egg, lightly beaten
1/8 cup olive oil
1/8 cup red wine vinegar
1 1/2 cups cubed bread
2 Tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 lb ground pork
1/2 lb ground beef
3 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 (26 ounce) jars pasta sauce (your favorite)
(Makes 20 meatballs)

Directions

In a large bowl, combine egg, olive oil, vinegar, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper.
Crumble the meats over the mixture; mix well.
Cut mozzarella into 20 1/4 - 1/2 inch cubes.
Use clean hands to divide the meat mixture into 20 portions, shaping them into balls.
Press the mozzarella cheese pieces into the center of the meatballs and pinch the meat shut.
In a large frying pan, heat oil over medium high and cook meatballs until no longer pink.
Drain and discard any extra fat.
In a large saucepan, heat pasta sauce; add the meatballs and stir gently to combine and heat.
These delicious meatballs can be served over rice, pasta or even on a meatball sub.
